Girls on the Run (GOTR) needs volunteer parents and/or staff coaches in order to return to SLES for the Spring season - GOTR is an amazing program, for girls in 3rd to 5th grade. WE NEED PARENT OR STAFF VOLUNTEERS to make this happen. You do not need to be a runner - walkers are welcome too!  Kristine Pokress, a previous GOTR Coach, has agreed to be the Site Liasion/Lead Coach and Noelle Chadwick, has volunteered to Coach. There must be a least three (3) coaches present at each lesson, so we need YOU. The program must have at least two (2) additional volunteer coaches for the spring season to be a success! Find out more info about the Volunteer Coach positions here. Please contact Kristine Pokress  at kpokress@gmail.com if you are able to help by Monday, January 23rd.

SAVE THE DATE - APRIL 1st, SPRING FLING for the SLES Foundation at 7pm!  The SLES Foundation is hosting it’s annual fun filled Spring Fling on April 1st at 7pm at the home of Diane and Ali Tabatabai.  Save the date for this parent only night.   The theme this year is a Spring Fiesta!  We’re looking for more parents to join our event committee and most importantly 1 to 2 additional Co-Chairs to join Kaushika Patel who has already volunteered.  Share your talents & have fun!  Contact Kaushika.bhogal@gmail.com to volunteer

WE NEED YOU!  The PTA utilizes almost 100 volunteers to implement our programs each year.  Many of our volunteers will be “graduating” from SLES.   If you think you can help out with our PTA initiatives, please contact and share your interests with Amy Quackenboss at slesptapresident@gmail.com.
