Seven Locks PTA

FUNDRAISING

Most of the PTA’s budget comes from our Fall membership drive. The PTA also holds a Book Fair, sells spirit wear, and holds plant sales.

Seven Locks Spiritwear Available

If you missed the Spiritwear and Reusable Bag Sale at Bingo Night and would like to purchase an item please look for the Spiritwear Table at Back To School Night, The Variety Show and Science Fair! You may also contact Debbie Brinkman at brinkmanboys@msn.com to set up a time to stop by and shop.

Spiritwear makes great gifts and you are supporting the PTA at the same time! Stop by the Spiritwear table at the next school event to take a look and show your school spirit!

SLES CAR MAGNETS

The SLES car magnets are still available for $5 apiece. You can purchase them by sending cash or a check (payable to Seven Locks ES PTA) in an envelope addressed to "Greta Hando, Seven Locks car magnet". Once the payment is received, the magnet(s) will be sent home with your child. Don't forget to write your child's name on the envelope!! Thanks for supporting our school! For questions, email Greta Hando at ghando@verizon.net.

Think Recycle Fundraiser/Program

Don't forget about our new environmental education and fundraising program...Think Recycle!

The Think Recycle program is simple. Students collect used cell phones, ink cartridges, laser cartridges, ipods, mp3 players, digital cameras and old laptops and return them to our Think Recycle box located at the school entrance and Seven Locks will earn funds for each qualifying item.

Through partnership with The Tree Canada Foundation and American Forests, Think Recycle will sponsor the planting of one tree for every 24 cartridges or cell phones collected.

Support of the Think Recycle program will help teach our children the importance of recycling, the benefits of tree planting and help raise funds for our school.
